Dr. Hiep-Hung Pham

Hiep-Hung PHAM is a senior education researcher and consultant. He is currently director of Center for Research and Practice on Education, Phu Xuan University Vietnam. He also affiliates with several other institutions such as Center for Educational Research and Development EdLab Asia (Director of Research), Catholic University of Murcia – Spain (Visiting Research Fellow), VNU Vietnam – Japan University (Visiting Lecturer). In 2020, he was appointed as Vietnam Country Director of STAR Scholars, an international forum of scholars that advances global social mobility by using research and advocacy. In 2021, he was appointed as Co editor in chief, Evaluation Review, SAGE (SSCI, IF 1.2, Citescore 3.1, Q1 Scimago). PHAM got his PhD in International Business Administration at Chinese Culture University, Taiwan (ROC) in 2017. In 2013, PHAM was Endeavour Research Fellow, conducting research at Center of Studies in Higher Education, The University of Melbourne. PHAM's topics of research include international education, education reform and research policy. Apart from academic activities, PHAM also usually involve in professional and practical exercises in order to promote the development of education such as consultant (for the Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam's National Assembly, the World Bank, ADB, SEAMEO-RIHED and several educational institutions), reporter (for University World News, UK), and columnist and commentator (for local and international media outlets).
